Tomorrow, Saturday, June 7th, will be a
busy one in the Capital of the Confederacy and the Va Flaggers would like to
invite you to join us as we attend events to honor our President, pay tribute to
one of the young victims of the Brown's Island explosion, and forward the colors
on the Boulevard.
9:00 a.m.: The 2014
Jefferson Davis Memorial Committee will conduct its annual birthday celebration
on Hollywood Cemetery. Keynote speaker will be Patrick Falci, portraying
Confederate General A. P. Hill. Free programs, ribbons, ice water, rifle and
cannon salutes, and ceremonial flags with certificates available as our
fundraiser. Free and open to the public.

Chester I-95 Memorial Battle Flag Work
Day: Join us as we spend the day clearing and hauling away debris, trimming
trees and vegetation, and cleaning up the flag
site. We are asking for all able bodies to join us, and bring any
equipment that may be helpful: Yard tools and tree trimming equipment, garbage
bags, and vehicles to haul away debris. What better way to celebrate FLAG DAY
in the Commonwealth!
