Va Flaggers: Confederate Memorial Chapel Vigil Night 2...More Flags for Danville!

Saturday night found our Flaggers back at the Confederate Memorial Chapel for the second and final night of the "InLight" art/sound display. 



Temperatures were cooler, and tensions were high as anti-Confederate protesters stepped up their inflammatory rhetoric and attempts to disrupt our peaceful protest.

Even so, Flaggers reported numerous opportunities to talk with event attendees, many of whom approached us to initiate conversations and discuss the history of the chapel, our flags, and our Veterans.

Danville Update:  Roadside Memorial Battle Flag Raising/Dedication THIS Saturday, November 21st.  Meet at 1:00 p.m. at the Memorial Drive (Third National) flag site, at the intersection of Piedmont Ave. and Memorial Drive.   Join us as we dedicate the latest Memorial flag...and continue to fulfill our promise to "pepper" the town with flags following the Danville City Council vote to strip the Third National Confederate Flag from the Confederate memorial on the grounds of the Last Capitol of the Confederacy.
